I absolutely adored the cozy and charming atmosphere of the motel. The decorations had a quaint and homely feel, which made me feel right at ease. The common areas were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable space for guests to relax and socialize. As a senior, I appreciated that the motel had easy accessibility with ramps and handrails, making it convenient for me to move around without any trouble.

I do wish that the children working there could provide a wider range of activities for senior guests. It would have been wonderful to have more options for entertainment or organized outings specifically catered towards seniors.

I was thrilled to find a separate lounge with a luxurious leather sofa, and the location was perfect for exploring the nearby attractions. The complimentary Wi-Fi and ski storage were convenient extras that made my stay even better.

Who needs a headboard on the bed when it can roll away from you? Such a unique design choice.

Lovely retreat, I didn't want to say goodbye.

Location: the hotel was just next door to a supermarket and the like, and city centre and hagley park. I randomly popped in Circa Coffee and Wares serving some pastries, located at a medium distance from the property, it was nice...

Excellent place, I greatly enjoyed welcoming personnel.

The location in a very quite area was good and easy and there were shopping centers and a supermarket nearby.

We got excellent value for our money at this motel. The room was spotless and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities. The location was convenient, being on the main road, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

The morning meal could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

The decoration at the motel was lovely, with a cozy and homely atmosphere. The common areas were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable space for relaxation. As a senior woman, I also appreciated the easy accessibility throughout the hotel, with clear signage and well-lit hallways, making it easy to navigate.

I would have liked to see more options for recreational activities suitable for senior guests. It would have been wonderful to have organized activities or information on nearby attractions that are suitable for older individuals.

It was really nice stay, I greatly enjoyed fine food.

Everything was good, the room was new-fashioned and functional with The kitchen and a really comfy bed, as example. The location was good, a 10-15 minute walking distance from Stay.

Conveniently located, parking tight. Clean, bright room with all necessary amenities. Recently refurbished, comfortable beds with new bedding. Perfect for three people with separate bedroom and living area. Great communication and service, even for late check-in. No road noise, prompt notification of forgotten item.

    Very clean and tidy

Struggled with bed and pillows, which is personal I know. Did notice bathrom sink took along time to clear and wardrobe handle fell off in my hand. Quick fix jobs and pretty spot on, yay.

    Spacious and very clean

Booked because they advertised free airport transfer but then advised don't do them anymore. Also said that shuttle would cost $8-10 but actually cost $24 so a bit misleading.

I had a fantastic stay at this place. The room was a pleasant surprise - tidy, clean, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The bathroom was great too, and overall, the room exceeded my expectations. The location was perfect, just a short taxi ride away from the city center. I also appreciated the free Wi-Fi in the rooms, which is always a plus for me. The staff at the reception desk were helpful in providing advice on where to eat and offered useful information about the city.

Not much to mention here. The only downside was that the view from the balcony was not very appealing.

The facilities like kitchenette, bathroom fixtures. The location was good - easy walk to places of interest.

Checkin services - the office closed very early in the evening and we had to go looking for the reception clerk. It will be good if more information is provided on the website regarding airport pickup and drop facilities.

Nice complementary tea and coffee. Great location for exploring the city. Plenty of parking spaces available.

Room was very old and needed refurbishment. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were very flat.

I was having problems connecting to tours within the city because of the relocation of pick up points as a result of the earthquake. I did not have a vehicle and was relying on shuttle buses and taxis which proved to be unreliable. The hotel manager - I think his name was Andy, was extremely helpful, even offering to drive me into town when the taxi was late for a connection. Andy was extemely helpful, making phone calls for me and recommending day trips when I missed a tour because I missed a connection. He was more knowledgable of the city and surrounds than the taxi drivers. The service and assistance provided was excellent and I would definitely recommend staying there.

Our stay at Bealey Avenue Motel was absolutely amazing. The location was perfect for our needs, being close to where we needed to be. The accessibility of the motel, being on the main road, was also very convenient. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and equipped with good kitchenwares. The staff provided excellent service, bringing new towels and emptying our bins daily. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose this accommodation again.

    Can just recommend this hotel.
